Hosted by Architectus with The University of Melbourne and Architecture & Access.
Universities and TAFEs embody diversity – in people, disciplines, cultures and ways of thinking. This seminar invites an industry-wide conversation on how campus environments can better support the neurological, physical, and cultural diversity of staff and students, so that everyone can learn, teach, and research at their best.
Drawing on current research and recent project work, we will explore how different users experience campus spaces, which spatial qualities most influence inclusion, and how design and engagement processes can embed inclusivity from briefing through to delivery.
Presenters:
Associate Professor Ben Cleveland, University of Melbourne
Dr Ilianna Ginnis, Architecture and Access
Dr Kellee Frith, Architectus
Followed by a panel discussion moderated by Jeroen Hagendoorn, Architectus
